When should I start weaning?

A The UK Department of Health (May 2003) recommend mothers to continue to breast-feed for the first six months. Breast milk provides all the nourishment that most babies need until they are six months old. Some babies may need to start weaning before this but it should not be introduced before they are at least four months old.
