Q Since birth my son has not settled on his back and was advised to lie him on his side. He won't settle like this anymore and will only sleep on his front which I have been advised not to do. He won't settle in his car seat whether it is moving in his buggy or car, he won't settle in a swing chair. I am starting to get a bit upset as taking him for walks is not enjoyable as all he does is scream and cry! health visitors response

Q For the last two months my two year old gets hysterical and wont let go of me when I try and put him to bed, he sobs and gets very upset. It started at bedtime. I take him to bed at 7.30 after his routine but as soon as I lower him into his cot he starts. What do you think the problem is? health visitors response

Q Up until a few days ago our little girl was very happy and contented but now she has totally changed. She seems to scream lots and for no apparent reason. We can't think of anything that has changed to bring on the screaming so we're really stuck with what to do about it. It's really breaking my heart to listen to her screaming and not being able to do anything about it.

Q My baby boy is 14 weeks old and suffers with with colic, I have been breast feeding until the last couple of weeks and haven't had a full nights sleep since the beginning. I am feeding him SMA White for hungry babies as he wants feeding every 2-4 hours, he still doesn't sleep more than 3-4 hours in one go with the heavier milk. Could you suggest anything, I know he is coming to the end of colic time so I'm hoping he is better once this is over. I try to get him into a routine but when a baby doesn't sleep for long spells its difficult. health visitors response
