My 9mth old daughter has inverted nipples. Will these self correct, could this cause problems later on?

A Inverted nipples are common in infants and often correct themselves later. If they don’t it will only become an issue when she is ready to breast feed. At that time she can learn to draw the nipple out and it will not affect her ability to breast feed as many mothers breast-feed successfully with inverted nipples and she will receive help and advice from her Midwife and Health Visitor. Breastfeeding specialists no longer recommend prenatal nipple treatment.
