My son was born a year ago. I was wondering if he could eat liver or fish.

A Yes your son can eat fish and liver. It is recommended that liver should be eaten only once a week because it contains high levels of Vitamin A. Although Vitamin A helps the immune system by promoting healthy surface linings of the eyes, respiratory, urinary and intestinal tracts it can cause liver abnormalities and reduced bone mineral density if taken in large quantities. Liver pate is not recommended for babies under one year but since your baby is one, he can now safely have some liver pate.
